CRC office & its functions
• To participate in various meetings convened by different ministries and departments of the Government of India at New Delhi on behalf of the Government of Odisha.
• To liaise and coordinate with various ministries and departments of the Government of India and multilateral & bilateral agencies including ADB, DFID, the World Bank etc.
• To expedite approval of proposals submitted to the Central Government and follow up on the release of funds under various central and centrally sponsored schemes.
• To facilitate and coordinate visits of dignitaries to Delhi including those of H.E. the Governor of Odisha, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha and other VIPs.
• To organise official programmes and meetings of H.E. the Governor of Odisha, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, different Committees of the State Legislature, other dignitaries and senior officers in Delhi.
• To provide inputs and information to the state and public sector units which is necessary in order to avail of central and external assistance.
• To maintain close links with Resident Commissioners of other States and Union Territories of India for building good inter-state relations and for exchange of ideas on good governance.
• To supervise the functioning of Odisha Bhawan, Odisha Niwas and Odisha Sadan so as to provide the best possible services to visitors in Delhi.
• To attend to emergent duties like managing natural disasters and to the evacuation of emigrant workers in distress.
• To provide necessary assistance to women and children of Odisha who have been victims of trafficking.
• To monitor pending cases in the Supreme Court, High Court and other quasi judicial fora in Delhi and also to manage the Litigation Management System (LMS) cell.
• To facilitate participation of stakeholders in various national and international events, exhibitions and fairs to showcase Odisha as a favourable investment destination.
• To organise the State Foundation Day and facilitate participation in the Republic Day Parade, IITF and other socio-cultural events in Delhi.
• To attend to any other duties specially assigned by the Government of Odisha.
