Anti - Trafficking and Protection of Child Rights Cell
Child Right Cell:Protection of Child Rights Cell has been created in the office of Principal Resident Commissioner in 2010 to monitor the cases of child rights violation relating to Odisha in New Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR) i.e. Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad. The cell deals with relief and repatriation of children belonging to Odisha as and when children in distress are rescued by different agencies in Delhi and NCR. It coordinates with the administration of National Capital Territory (NCT), New Delhi, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) and Department of Women & Child Welfare in Odisha.
Anti-Trafficking Cell:he Anti-trafficking cell for women and girls was created in the office of the Principal Resident Commissioner in 2011 to deal with cases relating to trafficking from Odisha to New Delhi and NCR. It helps the victims and provides necessary assistance including repatriation when required. It coordinates with the administration of NCT, New Delhi, National Commission for Women (NCW) and Department of Women and Child Welfare in Odisha.
